Answer
We are trying to become like God. We do so by having faith in Christ and following his commandments. Its a gradual process that will continue after this mortal life and into the next. Our mortal lives give us invaluable experiences making faithbased decisions that can bring us closer to and more like our Heavenly Father. As we do so, we are fulfilling our destiny and realizing our potential as sons and daughters of God.
